Account Executive-IT Managed Services

Business Technology Partners (BTP), an Information Technology Managed Services organization headquartered in Sumter, SC, with sales efforts throughout the Southeast and Southwest, has an opening for a Sales Account Executive who has proven experience and can make an impact the first week. This person will be instrumental in growing BTP’s target markets in South Carolina with emphasis’s in the Columbia, Florence, Greenville/Spartanburg, and Myrtle Beach area. Our primary office is in Sumter, SC but this role will primarily work from home within SC. BTP leverages a portfolio of products and experienced engineers, analyzes customer needs, designs and optimizes the best solution, deploys it on time and on budget, while ensuring it performs as specified.

Position Summary:
Business Technology Partners, LLC is seeking a motivated account executive with strong sales experience in the Sumter/Columbia, SC area. As an Account Executive you will be representing numerous “best in class” technology solutions in the areas of; IT Managed Services, IT Consulting, IT related hardware & Software reselling, and IoT, all of which enable our customers to successfully focus on their mission. As you bring customers through their journey with BTP, you will have the opportunity to win, exceed quota, and grow with the full backing our extensive customer service organization and technical support resources. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work closely within the organization throughout the territory and execute a strategy to maximize both revenue growth and profitability along with building long-term customer loyalty.
  • Forecast sales and develop “out of the box” sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Relationship / Account Management ability to develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with both potential and current clients.
  • Leverage market data and marketing resources to target and prospect customers to uncover needs and solution sell.
  • Navigate organizations from various industries to move and ultimately close deals.
  • Manage quote and funnel on monthly basis for success.
  • Cold calling new prospects/leads

Ideal candidate should have the following skills, experience and education:

  • Previous B2B technology or communication solutions experience.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and prospects; ability to articulate compelling value verbally and in writing.
  • Track record of meeting sales goals.
  • Self-starter, high energy, results-driven individual - you own the details and the projects and are not afraid of accountability.
  • Familiarize self with competitors' products and sell against them.
  • Possess ability to explain product features and benefits.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to focus on what matters.
  • Previous experience with CRM.
  • Possess intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products.

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

Network Engineer - Managed Services

Primary Responsibilities

  • Field incoming support issues, gather triage details, and generate tickets
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotations
  • Provide quality technical support and customer service
  • Use excellent communication skills to set clear expectations and meet assigned goals
  • Ensure that clients Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
  • Work with a team or individually to meet engagement deadlines
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests in a prompt, professional, courteous manner
  • Participate in team meetings as appropriate
  • Participate in required training and achieve and maintain IT-related certifications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Cisco ASA Firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
  • Windows Server Administration (Windows 2008/2012/2016)
  • Technologies associated with Active Directory (AD FS, DNS, DHCP, networking
  • Windows 10 Administration / Support
  • Work independently
  • Have a "do whatever it takes" attitude and be willing to step outside their comfort zone
  • Available to travel regionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills; customer-centric attitude; ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Decision-Making — Ability to use logical sound judgment and experience to determine the appropriate course of action for a given situation
  • Problem-Solving — Gather and use information needed to develop effective solutions to difficult problems or situations

Required Education:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, IS, or similar.
  • 5+ years of Level 3 experience
  • Current Verifiable Cisco or Microsoft certification is a MUST
  • Previous consulting industry experience in a technical or business analyst role is a plus
